Transformative Mediation Training Registration

Transformative Mediation Training

Transformative mediation is all about helping people shift—from feeling stuck, defensive, and unheard…
to feeling calmer, clearer, and capable of constructive conversation.

It’s a form of mediation that doesn’t “fix problems” for people—it empowers them to find their voice,
recognize one another’s humanity, and move forward on their own terms.

This training introduces the philosophy and real-world practice behind transformative dialogue.

We’ll explore how mediators:
• Support people in regaining their sense of strength and clarity
• Create space for recognition and understanding
• Resist the urge to “solve” or “steer”
• Allow conflict conversations to unfold naturally and respectfully

And we’ll do it in a hands-on, supportive, and hopefully, fun environment!

You’ll practice skills, try new approaches, and walk away ready to bring more calm and confidence into everyday interactions,
whether you’re managing a meeting, handling tensions at home, or navigating community conversations.

This training is ideal for community members, educators, nonprofit leaders, faith leaders, social workers, parents,
volunteers, and anyone who wants to strengthen communication and conflict-support skills.

Some participants may choose to continue and volunteer with Mediation Services of Adams County after the training,
but it’s absolutely not required. Come learn for your own growth, your work, your life, and your community.

This training is free — space is limited, and registration is required.
